Wow, you really sound like you're making a great adjustment and having fun. How odd that you're surrounded by transfer students. I think the good part of that is that they're probably already well-adjusted and serious about school. We're pleased to hear you're in choir, but we're a little nervous about the number of extracurriculars you're committing to. Chemistry might be tough, cause there will be a lot of pre-meds and people who have taken more chemistry than you, so please remember (this is sort of obvious) that academics come first.
Either Spanish class sounds good; if you can't get into the more advanced one this year you'll probably get another chance. I'm so proud of you for checking in on the academic support stuff. I doubt you'll need tutoring for content (though don't hesitate if you think you do); what you may need help with is pacing and self-discipline. Still, this is your big chance to show that you can do it, and I have confidence that you'll find a way, and seek out the help you need.
Owen has gone back to CA where he has been visiting Lyn. Paco is here visiting Rhianon, and Sabrina is loving the start of her sophomore year. Hopefully we'll all write to each other and keep in touch.
The cuddle club recently learned a proof of the Pythagorean theorem, and Yoshi was missed.
The most unusual news from here at home is that Damian has Lyme disease. He had a rash of multiple largish oval red spots all over his body, so now he has to take doxycycline for a month. The first morning he took it he threw up and had to stay home from school, but now he's taking it with food and doing fine.
